Miranda Lambert’s Breakout Acting Gig Will Leave You Speechless!

The blonde country bombshell picks up a role in one of the longest-running and most loved television shows, but the role she was cast in isn’t what you might guess as a first-choice for the “Platinum” singer. 

Miranda Lambert began her acting with music videos, but later found herself squarely in the spotlight during one of the most-watched tv dramas in recent history.

Appearing in Season 13, Episode 13 of Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit, Lambert strikes out in a role as an aspiring actress trying to make it big in New York, but she gets caught up in some terrible circumstances involving drugs, movies, and rape. 

It all spins wildly out of hand as the plot takes you on a rollercoaster of twists and turns you never saw coming. 

Of her appearance on the show, fellow actors reveal that they were excited to have her – and one even proves how much of a fan he is by talking about her biggest hit during that same year. Lambert did such a fantastic job, he couldn’t even believe that it was her first acting role! 

First aired in 2012, you’ve probably seen this episode in reruns, but nonetheless, Law & Order: SVU is one of those programs that remains relevant through time.
