One of Miranda Lambert's greatest passions in life is taking care of animals. Besides rescuing many pets to take into her own home, Lambert established the MuttNation Foundation in 2009, which is an organization with "a mission to end animal cruelty, neglect and homelessness."
Lambert's organization operates a shelter in Oklahoma called Redemption Ranch, and every year Lambert hosts the "Cause for the Paws" event to raise money for the organization's many programs. Since Lambert has such an affection for animals, and dogs in particular, it should come as no surprise that one of her favorite childhood movies is all about dogs.
On Sunday (June 5), Lambert shared her evening plans with her fans by tweeting a picture of the cover for the 1989 film All Dogs Go to Heaven. But Lambert didn't spend her movie night alone. She was joined by her boyfriend Anderson East, a Nashville-based rhythm and blues singer.
After rumors started to swirl that Lambert was seeing East, she eventually confirmed the relationship in January 2016. The couple has been going strong ever since, and East even accompanied Lambert on the red carpet at the ACM Awards in April.
For the most part, Lambert and East keep their relationship fairly under wraps. However, Lambert mentions him in the occasional post on social media, including the one she wrote about their movie night together.
Apparently, East also has a liking for Lambert's favorite childhood flick, since Lambert indicated in the caption to her photo that she loves boys who love cartoons.
Nothing beats watching a good movie with someone you care about, and Lambert and East prove just that. We hope they enjoyed their movie night!
