Country Singer & Uncle With Down Syndrome Sing Emotional Duet Of ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today’

Facebook/Travis Hatfield

In one of the most heart-warming performances we’ve ever seen, a young country singer sits down with his beloved uncle and together they sing their hearts out to one of the best songs ever recorded.

Travis Hatfield has been singing country music for years and has his sights set firmly at the top of the charts, but in this touching video his only focus is spending some quality time with one of the people closest to him.

“I have a very special person in my life singing with me, his name is Jamie Joe Cline,” Hatfield writes in the caption on Facebook. “He is my 47-year-old uncle who happens to have Down Syndrome.”

Holding a guitar, Hatfield begins playing George Jones’ signature hit, “He Stopped Loving Her Today”, and leads in with the first line, just seconds later Cline follows his lead and these two are off, singing their hearts out to one of their favorite songs!

“Those who know him, love him,” he continues writing. “He is a big part in my life and I don’t know what I would do without him. He’s one of the sweetest people I have ever met.”

This duet shows one of those moments in life that is truly cherished and these two are lucky enough to get together and do this almost every weekend!
