Fans STUNNED When Country Superstar Walks Into Audience During CMA Fest

If you’re a country music fan, then the CMA Music Festival is the highlight of your summer. Every year the CMA Fest brings in country’s biggest stars for several days that are jam-packed with performances and other special events.

As you would guess, the CMA Fest is a huge deal for the city of Nashville due to the thousands of tourists who pour into the city. Many of the local businesses and venues are filled with fans looking forward to having a good time and listening to some great music.

On Friday (June 10), a crowd gathered in the popular performance venue called The Stage on Broadway to escape the summer heat. While listening to the band play a cover of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band‘s “Fishin’ in the Dark,” the crowd was in for a major surprise when a major country star came casually strolling into the room.

The crowd was thrilled to see Blake Shelton wandering into the crowd, totally unannounced. But Shelton took it one step further than making a simple appearance. He grabbed his acoustic guitar, stepped up on stage, and played an hour-long set containing some of his biggest hits.

Shelton entertained the crowd with his signature song “Ol’ Red” as well as “Sangria” and “Honey Bee”, among others. Although Shelton is set to entertain a much larger crowd on Saturday (June 11) in the Nissan Stadium, he told the audience at Broadway that he likes smaller venues so much more.

I’m always jealous of people who get to play on Broadway,” he said. “This is way better for me personally.

Check out the video below to watch Shelton make his surprise entrance in the club. We wish we could have been there to see it!
