A longtime part of the country music landscape, the boys from Montgomery Gentry definitely know their way around a powerful Southern rock song.

Not only do they know their way around it, but they have the fine-tuned skills to bring the song to life in almost any setting imaginable: even on the porch!

Taking to the patio for a supercharged acoustic version of their hit “So Called Life” Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry gave talk show host Leah Guy the performance of a lifetime when they brought their guitars and drum out of the tour bus and onto her porch!

The song was released as the second single from their fan-favorite album, Rebels on the Run, and scored a great spot in the Top 50 on the U.S. Country chart in 2012!

Recorded live at Leah’s place, the performance embodies the purity of country music and gives fans just one more reason to love what these two do! Making great music is clearly what they were born to do!

Watch this boot-stomping, heart-pounding, down-home-style performance in the video below – and prepare to be amazed
