Country superstar Luke Bryan gives country legend Conway Twitty’s “Lay You Down” a modern booty shakin’ twist live in Nashville back in 2007.

Luke was only 4 years old when the chart-topping hit first made its debut and now he is performing in front of thousands decades later. The country star recorded the song over 30 years after its original release in 1980, and has been making his crowds weak in the knees with the sensual lyrics ever since.

“Lay you down and softly whisper pretty love words in your ear,” sings Luke. “Lay you down and tell you all the things a woman loves to hear.”

Conway originally released “Lay You Down” in January of 1980 as the first single off his album Heart and Soul. The song hit No.1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and the Canadian RPM Country chart.
