Spending some quality time together at their Nashville home studio, the legendary country star, and his beautiful and talented daughter, Jenny Gill share a moment of pure magic when they sing together.

Part of a series by Musician’s Friend, Vince Gill and Jenny speak openly about their connection to music, their goals, and how music has brought them closer.

“People would say ‘You’re not gonna let your kid do what you did, are ya?’ and I’d go ‘I had the best life in the world, why wouldn’t I want that for my kid?'” Vince explains in the video. “I’ve loved my life.”

A musician herself, Jenny has stepped out on her own adventure in the same world her father found success, but admits that they go about music in different ways.

“We are separately creative and to get to collaborate in a way in that area has been super cool for me, because, like – he’s the king!” she says, admiring her dad. “What can’t you do?”

Together, they share a beautiful moment while singing an enchanting duet of “Whenever You Come Around” that is played clip-by-clip throughout the video.
