It is said that mothers form their strongest bond with their children before babies even know how speak. A sweet baby girl with eyes only for the woman who gave birth to her bursts into tear after her talented mother begins singing Sara Evans‘ version of “My Heart Can’t Tell You No.”

“Mommy’s going to sing you a song,” the mother said to her baby, who was smiling ear-to-ear. “Want mommy to sing you a song? Let me know how you feel about this song, okay?”

Going with her mother’s instructions, the baby shows her just how she feels, becoming noticeably emotional immediately after she begins singing. The love the emotional 10-month-old has for her mom is apparent, often taking breaks between crying to smile.

When the songs is over, the baby attempts to wipe the tears from her face as her mother asks her, “Awe you feel the pain of the song, ya honey?” Even though she is seen noticeably crying throughout the song, you never hear her cry, the baby attentively listening to the powerful lyrics throughout her mother’s performance.

“My Heart Can’t Tell You No” was originally released by British rocker Rod Stewart in 1988. Decades later in 2011, Evans gave the song a country makeover, taking it to No.21 on the country chart.
