Sounds like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Loretta Lynn and her son Ernest Ray performed a touching duet to the tune of “Mama’s Sugar.”

The song begins with focus on Ernest Ray before Loretta comes into the frame harmonizing along with her son. In this beautifully touching duet between mother and son, Loretta gazes at her son with proud joy in her eyes.

Lynn married her late husband Oliver in 1948 when she was 15 years old, their life together inspiring much of her music. Ernest Ray, now 65, is just one of Loretta and Oliver’s six children.
