2016 “Voice” Coaches Give Electrifying Performance Of Stevie Wonder Hit

We all know individually, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Pharrell, and Christina Aguilera are incredible singers. When they sing together, it’s so much more magical, though!
When Blind Auditions came to an end in 2016, the coaches kick off the battle rounds with an epic performance.
At least once every season on The Voice, the coaches perform together. Sometimes it’s a medley of their hits, and sometimes they cover legendary artists. For this season in particular, they covered Stevie Wonder’s hit song “I Wish.”
Shelton started it off, and even changed the opening lyrics to “Looking back on when I was a little Oklahoma boy.”
Levine, Pharrell and Aguilera followed with solos, and they all joined in at the chorus. Aguilera’s signature growls and runs were perfect for this song, and Pharrell even showed off his percussion skills on the drums!
The performance had everyone in the audience clapping along and cheering after every line! It’s as almost as if this group of coaches were born to sing this song together.
