You’ll Be Moved To Tears When You See The Special Gift This Veteran Gives To Brantley Gilbert (WATCH)

Wow! Break out the tissues, this video is so touching!

Aside from being a country music superstar, Brantley Gilbert is also a huge supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. Recently, the Wounded Warrior Project launched the “Rolling Odyssey“, which allows wounded combat veterans to experience something unique, as they ride motorcycles together from Houston to Baton Rouge and back.

Not only did Brantley join the ride, but he really changed some lives along the way. One seemingly big, strong man walked up to Brantley after they returned and we would have never guessed what was about to come out of his mouth. He nervously began talking to Brantley, saying,

I have not been out of the house for over two years with my PTSD, I mean I go to the grocery store. What you are doing for us, you have no idea what that’s doing for us soldiers. Man, I got goosebumps. I don’t know any other way to thank you. I can’t give you a Grammy or a country music award, I could thank you a million times, but for me, I got a gift for you.

The man reached in his pocket and said,  “My blood, sweat and tears are on this and that’s how I earned it.” And then he did something none of us saw coming, he said, “I’d like to give you my first purple heart.

Brantley was shocked and honored, as this strong man cried beside him, thanking him for his inspiration and support.

We are so inspired by this story, and we’re hoping that it will remind all of us  that you never know the impact you may have on someone.
