Hank Williams Jr. Pays Tribute To His Father With A Touching Medley Of His Greatest Hits

Back when Hank Williams Jr. was a clean-shaven teenager, he made a career performing his legendary father’s songs all over the country. This went well into his twenties, but eventually wanted to branch out from his father’s shadow.

His new style of music quickly made him a huge superstar and with hits like “Family Tradition”, “Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound”, and “All My Rowdy Friends”, he solidified himself as a country legend on his own right.

Although his style is very different than his late father’s, he continues to pay tribute to him in concert. In his later years of singing solely his dad’s hits, Hank Jr. made an appearance on The Johnny Cash Show

He took the stage and wowed the crowd by singing some of the most iconic songs in country music history, including “You Win Again”, “I Can’t Help It (If I’m Still In Love With You)” and “Half As Much”.

To this day, it still stuns us at how similar the two Hanks sound. Check out the video to see Hank Williams Jr. sing a medley of his father’s hit songs, and you’ll be blown away!
