Comedian Ray Stevens Spoofs Duck Commander, And It’ll Have Y’all Howling With Laughter
on Jun 24, 2015
According to Ray Stevens, the “Quackmaster“, he’s the original Duck-A-Fone commander. This Duck Commander spoof all in good fun, of course, but he released some vintage footage of him playing this so-called “duck-a-fone”.
“He’s been acclaimed the world over as the master of the Duck-A-Fone”, the footage starts off. Ray Stevens then begins to play six duck calls that seem to be glued to a wood board, as if it’s some sort of harmonica. Like those infomercials that used to play on the television over a decade ago, the funny footage features these “duck call songs” playing in the background and gives them hilarious, witty titles. For example, there’s “You Are The Web Between My Toes”, parodying “You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings”, as well as “Waddle I Do”, “Rubber Ducky”, “Come Fly With Me”, “Down Yonder”, “Just Plain Bill”, “Hit The Road Quack”, and several more.
“Just play these in the blind and bag your limit in no time at all!”
The 76-year-old comedian says, “I really love those Duck Dynasty guys on TV. I hope they get a kick out of this. Quack, quack!” Ray is known for his hilarious comedic songs like, “The Streak“, “Mississippi Squirrel Revival,” and “We The People“. His jokes are always good, clean fun and he is loved by so many.
We hope you get a kick out of his silly parody! Thoughts?
