Watch out world, Maggie Baugh has arrived! You’re going to be blown away by this young girl’s skills on the fiddle!
Joining Neal McCoy on stage on the 2014 trip of Trace Adkin‘s Country Cruising, Maggie shyly introduces her song, with the help of Neal. The moment she starts fiddling, the crowd erupts in applause.
You can hear Neal cheer, “Go, Maggie Baugh!” as he claps along to the beat. This girl is incredible and there’s no doubt about that! She finishes the upbeat song with a standing ovation from the sold-out audience!
“Orange Blossom Special” is about a passenger train, written by Ervin T. Rouse in 1938. It is referred to as the fiddle player’s national anthem. The fiddle tune became a fan favorite at bluegrass festivals by the 1950s. For years, no fiddle player was hired for a bluegrass band unless they could play “Orange Blossom Special!” Looks like Maggie can be hired now!
Maggie is currently on tour and will be joining the Country Cruising ship again this fall.
Make sure to watch her incredible performance below, you’ll be glad you did!
