Zac Brown Band Pays Tribute To The Beatles With Incredible Performance of “Let It Be”

During the Zac Brown Band’s Jekyll & Hyde Tour, you can find amazing music and lots of fun, but no one said anything about The Beatles!

At a recent performance, the country band performed The Beatles’ smash-hit “Let It Be” and the crowd was loving it! They are known for doing a few covers during their set, but this song was a surprise to everyone!

Zac Brown, himself, sits behind a piano during their acoustic version of the popular song with his band mates playing tambourine, drums, violin, stand-up bass, and guitar. Zac even stood up to lead a sing-a-long with the audience.

Let It Be” was written by Paul McCartney and is off The Beatles’ 1970 album of the same name. The song is one of their best-known and gave The Beatles their seventh consecutive year charting a number 1 hit, sharing the all-time record with Elvis Presley.

Lyrics

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

And when the broken-hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Yeah, there will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Ah, let it be, yeah, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be
I wake up to the sound of music,
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, yeah, let it be
Oh, there will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, yeah, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
