One fiery tyke had viewers howling with laughter when he proved that, despite his small frame, his mighty talent was enough for even the deepest of country classics! 5-year-old Raylan manned a massive electric guitar as he adorably began to belt the lyrics to Johnny Cash‘s tune “Folsom Prison Blues”.

“When I hear that whistle blowing, I hang my head and cry,” little Raylan sang into his microphone. In addition to his adorable vocals, the little rockstar strummed his guitar and tapped his foot to the beat of the song! Rocking back and forth, Raylan continued through his performance, earning a thunderous applause from his more than amused audience!

The little boy’s band members gave him a pat on the head, admiring his love for quality music and tenacious talent. Cash released the ballad in 1955, becoming an immediate success and a staple to the icon’s career.
