Reba McEntire Shares How She Met Narvel And Their Relationship

The love story of Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock is full of romance and the reality of a good relationship. Sadly, they are becoming separated from each other and that dream romance and love that fans saw has come to an end. Yet, looking back just a few years, it seemed like such a happy and successful marriage. 

Reba went on OWN, Oprah Winfrey Network, for the show Oprah’s Master Class. During the show she took the time to talk about her career and about how she met Narvel. They met in 1980, when Reba needed a steel guitar player. They became close and when everyone gave up on Reba, including her first husband, Narvel stood by her side. As a result she fired her manager and divorced her first husband and made Narvel her manager. 

“The key to our relationship being so successful is that we have great respect for each other.”

That respect is still there as the news of Reba and Narvel separating has been released. Reba has made it clear that they will still be working together even though they are going their separate ways in their marraige. That makes us happy as fans.
