The Hill Country is often revered for its lush natural surroundings and beautiful landscapes. But in Texas, you’ve got to know how to two-step or you’re in trouble. That’s why we have decided to provide you with some of the best dance halls in the Hill Country. So dust off those boots, and get “two” steppin’! 

This guide features a list of 7 halls currently open to the public, with little to no cost for admission. These honky-tonks offer live music, dance lessons, and a good-ole-fashioned party! All you need to do is scroll through the list to find your perfect fit. 

Often called the “Texas two-step”, this popular Lonestar state dance is simple, and only requires a pair of willing and able dancers. Once you learn it once, you’ll be a pro! (As long as you practice). 

Unfortunately, there aren’t as many active dance halls as there used to be, but as the cowboy culture continues to grow in it’s home state we are hopeful that more will make a come back.
