Tom Hiddleston must be Hank Williams reincarnated because their resemblance is uncanny in the newly released photo of the actor as the legendary country music icon. Sony Pictures released the photo yesterday for the Hank Williams biopic, I Saw The Light.
The film, which opens November 27, tells the story of Hank’s rise to fame, the turmoil of his personal life and the addictions he battled along the way that ultimately lead to his passing at 29. The Avengers star will star beside actress Elizabeth Olsen, who will be playing Audrey Mae, Hank’s wife.
Tom gave us a fantastic sneak peek back in June via his Twitter account (see below), but this is newly released photo is the one we’ve been waiting for!

Tom has also been seen performing some of Hank’s music live and we have to say that we’re impressed. The photo, plus the live performance of “Move It On Over” at the 2014 Wheatland Music Festival really gets one excited to see this biopic that will no doubt blow our minds!
