A Happy Moment: Glen Campbell And His Baby Girl Rock The Stage With Dueling Banjos

thewholenote.com

Glen Campbell will always be one of the greatest country artists to ever grace the stage.

Starting from a humble life in a small Arkansas town, Campbell was one of 12 children. His uncle was a musician himself, and in 1954, Campbell moved to New Mexico to join him. After experiencing some successes with his uncles band, he then moved to Los Angeles to strike out on his own as a session musician.

Throughout the 60’s and early 70’s Campbell scored many hits, including his most notable single: “Rhinestone Cowboy” which continues to be a staple for the entertainment industry today.

Campbell has been featured on an endless number of special programs from VH1, A&E, and CMT. In 2010, Campbells talented kids Cal, Shannon, and Ashley joined him on tour as part of his band.

In this stunning video, Campbell and daughter Ashley go neck-and-neck in a banjo battle during one of their tour performances. You can see how much fun these two have together making music.
