“Uptown Funk” Movie Mashup Will Make You Want To Get Up And Dance

Stop. Wait a minute. This dance scene mashup is probably the best one ever made.

YouTube channel What’s The Mashup?  has been doing movie mashups for some time, but never one like this.

The mashup, called 100 Movies Dance Scenes Mashup, features over 100 movie dance scenes set to the hit song “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars.

Just 11 days after it was released the video already had over 5 million views, and after watching it, it’s easy to see why.

This video features dance scenes from a wide range of famous movies, with everything from Patrick Swayze‘s final dance in Dirty Dancing to Robin Williams’ dance scene with the vacuum cleaner in Mrs. Doubtfire being featured in the nearly five minute clip.

Despite the various dance styles showcased in the video, it seems that almost any style and any scene fits perfectly to the beat of “Uptown Funk.”

With so many famous movie scenes set to the tune of one of the most popular songs of the year, it’s no wonder that the video has experienced so much success.

Though what is truly impressive is how much work What’s The Mashup? put into the video. It must have taken a long time to find the perfect dance scenes to make them not only match up with the song, but with one another.

There’s no arguing that this is one incredible video that is a must-see for any music or movie lover.

What do you think? Was your favorite dance scene featured in the mashup?
