Marines Give Epic Performance, And It’s Nothing Like You’d Expect

This hilarious performance is a must-see!

To celebrate the 238th birthday of the US Marine Corps, a group of dancing Marines did something extra special.

Each year at the “Birthday Ball” a one special group of Marines joins forces to bring smiles to the faces of their audience, they call themselves the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band. Past years included performances of “Bohemian Rhapsody“, “Gangnam Style“, and “Thunderstruck“.

But this year the group switched it up and cleverly re-wrote the words to Macklemore’s hit songs, “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us“, renaming their rendition, “Cash Sales“.

For those of you who don’t know what the phrase “Cash Sales” means, fear not, we have your answer!  According to The New Partridge Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English, “‘Cash Sales’ is a US Marine newly arrived in Vietnam and inexperienced in combat.

As the Marines poured their hearts and souls into their singing and dancing, the audience joined in, loving every moment of the performance!

In the end, the group got the standing ovation they deserved!

Great job!
