In a powerful expression of gratitude, a neonatal nurse is surprised by the families of the babies she has saved.

For over 30 years, Renee Hendrix, a NICU nurse at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, has helped give countless infants a fighting chance at life and been an incredible pillar of support for their families. 

To celebrate National Nurses Day, Kleenex compiled a video of families telling Hendrix what a meaningful impact her compassion and dedication has had on them.

In this video, Hendrix is watching the video Kleenex prepared, when, to her complete surprise, the families start appearing out of nowhere! 

This is such a heart-warming and emotional story about one nurse’s passion to help and a wonderful tribute to NICU nurses everywhere.
