In a recent visit to a New York City newsroom to discuss her new book “Blessed, Blessed…Blessed”, Missy Robertson, husband Jase, and their daughter Mia opened up about their favorite Bible verses.
Right in line with Mia’s recent health issues, these Duck Dynasty family members open up about strength and perseverance.
Jase admits, “I do have [favorite] Bible verses, but they constantly change.” And then he goes on to share Matthew 19:26,
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. The principle of that carries over to a lot of things in life.”
Next up, 12-year-old Mia speaks with certainty when she selects Psalm 46:10.
“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’”
Mommy Missy is the final clan member to tell interviewer her favorite verse.
“Same thing with me, mine’s constantly changing. Right now, surrounding this book, I can’t help but think about Romans 5:3-5, Paul says: ‘Glory In Your Sufferings’, because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character, and character hope. And right now that’s basically the theme verse around Mia and her battles and her struggles.”
What an empowering statement for the incredible battle Mia has been through already in her young life. You can read more about it here.
