Wolves Provide Backup Vocals During Rocky Mountain Folk Duet

Did they plan this? Either way, it’s amazing. These two folk artists decided to play their cover of A.A. Bondy’s “American Hearts” while visiting a private wolf sanctuary in the Colorado mountains, and received some unexpected backup singers.

Shawn and Baker are a folk music duo who travel all around playing different shows and events. While in Fort Collins, Colorado for a show they decided to make a pitstop. They performed in one of the wolf sanctuary’s enclosures, and much to their surprise received some backup vocal assistance from a couple musically inclined wolves.

If you listen closely you’ll hear the sound of the wolves howling only about twenty yards behind Shawn and Baker. Wolves obviously love beautiful music!

On their own they sound beautiful, but the added wolverine vocals make Shawn and Baker’s cover incredible. Such a unique experience can’t be created twice so we are happy they decided to document the moment.
