Y’all will remember when Blake Shelton first met Christina Aguilera’s baby and she looked desperate for an escape.

In a recent interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Blake Shelton gets a chance to comment on the time he met Summer Rain for the first time.

Seth starts out talking about family with Shelton and then swiftly moves into asking him about the photo…

“So, you met Christina Aguilera‘s baby. How would you say it went?” Meyers said with a laugh. “Because I’m going to show the photo and I’m going to give you a chance to frame it first.”

“You know, I’m not good with babies. I just haven’t quite gotten the hang..” Blake replied.

“Really? Because I would say this baby is desperately trying to get away from you. Look at that! That hand is reaching for help.” Seth joked, showing the audience the photo.

But…what really happened, Blake?

“Matt, which is [Christina’s] baby daddy, came up and was like, ‘Will you take this picture?’ I was like, ‘Man. I mean, I guess.’ I mean, I have clearly been drinking in that picture. So, I’m like, ‘Are you sure you want me?’ Like, I’m not the guy. And the baby senses that a little bit,” Blake said. “I don’t want to hurt the baby and I could fall in that picture…probably.”

The hilarious banter between the two continues on for a few more minutes and Blake comments that Christina and her fiancee (Matthew Rutler) do make good looking babies, but that probably wasn’t her best photo because of the state of distraught she was in!
