‘This Cause Is Important To Me’ – Tanya Tucker Talks Alzheimer’s

Tanya Tucker is calling on her fans for help with a cause she holds very close to her heart… Alzheimer’s. 

It is no surprise that Tanya feels very passionate about Alzheimer’s Disease, as her former lover, Glen Campbell, has been suffering from the horrible disease. 

In her efforts to help end Alzheimer’s, Tanya called on her fans for help by posting to her social media accounts. She began with her Facebook page, saying,

The link goes to Tanya’s “Walk Page” where she explains to fans why she is participating in this walk. “Tanya Tucker’s Walk Page” says, 

I’m walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support. I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s.  For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

On Nov. 12, Tanya posted a photo of her and Glen Campbell’s oldest daughter, Debby, getting ready for the walk.
