Uncle Si & Jase Robertson Share Hilarious Safety Tips For Deep Frying A Turkey

It seems like every Thanksgiving, someone, somewhere, ends up starting a fire because they don’t know how to deep fry a turkey. 

In hopes of putting an end to so many accidents, Uncle Si and Jase Robertson teamed up to share their tips for how to safely deep fry a turkey.

As to be expected, Uncle Si and Jase’s advice isn’t completely serious, but even the humorous parts contain an important message. 

“Before you break out your bird, hang on a minute,” Jase says, grabbing a fire extinguisher after hearing an explosion. “You gotta do this right. Make sure your turkey’s thawed all the way.”

Jase turns to look at the windshield of his truck, which has been cracked by a frozen turkey, and we can only guess that the turkey ended up there due to something Uncle Si did.

“Use your fryer outdoors,” Jase says, uncovering more destruction as he comes up to a burning building, “away from wooden structures.”

Once Jase walks into the building, he discovers that the cause of the explosion was indeed Uncle Si, who seems unconcerned as he drinks his tea.

After looking at Uncle Si, Jase has one more tip to share with everyone, saying, “Don’t be like Si. Hang on a minute and think before you fry.”
