Folks, if you love rodeos, look no further.
8-year-old Kameryn White is a Texas rodeo girl who competes in the Goat Tying event. In the event, she must ride a horse from one end of the rodeo arena to the other, where a goat is staked out on a 10 foot rope. She then dismounts her horse and ties three of the goat’s feet together and raises her hands when she is done so the judges know when to stop the running clock. The contestant with the fastest time wins.
Kameryn became an Internet star after her mom, Corey White, uploaded one of her Goat Tying runs from a January rodeo when she recovered extremely well from what could have been a huge mishap!
While she was dismounting her horse, she did a “scorpion move,”which is when someone falls “and their legs and feet come up over their body and touch their head, like a scorpion tail.”
Kameryn didn’t hesitate after her scorpion move by immediately jumping to her feet to tie up the goat.
After her 13.21 second run, the announcer asked her over the loudspeaker, “Kameryn, did you mean to do that?” And the third grader shook her head no.
“Well you did good!” the announcer told her.
Even though she got a face full of dirt, she didn’t give up and proved just how tough she is!
The video now has over 3.1 million views and we are not surprised! Watch her impressive skills below.
