It looks like we’ll be seeing Faith Hill on the silver screen this month! Even more exciting, she is acting alongside a relative of “The King”.
Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough will also be in the film “Dixieland” scheduled to hit theaters December 11, 2015. The film depicts the life of a recently-released, ex-con who seems to have a string of bad luck. The star character played by Chris Zylka, becomes trapped into a spiral of crime and obsessive love. Hill plays the Zylka’s concerned mother who tries to warn her son about the girl-next-door with a troubled family (played by Keough).
Keough is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, and has been acting and modeling for most of her life. Since her teenage years, Keough has appeared on the cover of Vouge, and on the runway for Dolce and Gabbana.
She made her acting debut in 2010, and has slowly been building her career. At just 27 years old she has already made a name for herself, and there is no doubt her celebrity grandfather would be proud!
This isn’t the first time Hill has been on the big screen either. In 2004 she played a part in the remake of “The Stepford Wives”, and the short film, “Thank You Billy Graham”.
