Thomas Rhett & Brett Eldredge Put A Country Twist On Major Hip-Hop Hits

As their Suits and Boots tour comes to a close, Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge are taking the time to have a little fun at the end of their concerts.

During a concert on November 21, 2015, Rhett and Eldredge put together a special medley for their encore performance. But rather than sing more of their own songs, the duo decided to perform their own, distinctly country versions of some of Hip-Hop and R&B’s greatest hits, while throwing in some covers of fan-favorite country songs as well.

Rhett and Eldredge start off singing the 2005 hit song by Kayne West, “Gold Digger,” and their version is clearly country in comparison to the original. Anyone familiar with the song may find it hard to believe that it can be “made country,” but Rhett and Eldredge do an excellent job.

Next, the duo sings a crowd-pleasing rendition of Brooks & Dunn’s “Neon Moon.” Some of the other songs they cover include Tim McGraw’s, “Real Good Man,” Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Silentó’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”

Rhett gets really into their performance of “Watch Me,” jumping off of his stool to dance along to the music. Eldredge isn’t able to pull off the moves as well, but he still gives it his best shot, and the crowd goes wild for them both.

You can watch Rhett and Eldredge’s full encore medley performance in the video below.

It’s clear that these two have a ton of fun working together, which makes them a blast to watch!
