Looks like the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.

The announcer reads, “I don’t think anybody honors the memory of Hank Williams any better than this next lady.

Jett Williams takes the stage and wows with an unbelievable performance of her father’s hit song, “Your Cheatin’ Heart“, and we can’t help but notice the similarities.

Written and recorded by Hank Williams in 1952, “Your Cheatin’ Heart” became an instant success, topping Billboard’s Country & Western chart for six weeks.

In this performance, Jett opens up the show with a matured confidence, (most likely passed down to her from Hank), and leaves the audience asking for more!

Jett introduces herself with a quick story about Hank and begins playing her father’s iconic ballad. In her thick southern accent, Jett gives us a ‘Hank lesson.’

She notes:

The song I’m going to sing for you is one of the very last songs he ever wrote. It was in his very last recording session. He never performed it live on stage, because the good Lord took him away too soon.

Jett sings Hank’s song just right, and pays tribute to her father in one of the best ways possible. Check out Jett’s lively performance below of one of Hank’s biggest hits!
