Carrie Underwood Experiences The Moment Every Aging Person Dreads

ET Online

Carrie Underwood recently experienced a rite of passage that everyone knows they will go through, but dreads the moment it will happen.

After making a trip to the grocery store, Underwood says that the day was a sad one for her, all because of something the cashier didn’t do. Underwood had purchased a bottle of wine, and in a horrifying moment for her, she wasn’t carded for buying it.

‘Tis a dark day today…” Underwood wrote on her Twitter, including the hashtags, “#IFeelOld #SourGrapes #Sad.

At almost 33, we don’t think Underwood has anything to worry about when it comes to turning old. Even with a busy career and a baby at home, she still finds the time to dedicate to working out and eating healthy, which certainly helps keep her feeling and looking young.

A few weeks ago, Underwood shared a video to her Instagram showing off her routine leg workout, which requires the use of nothing more than a pair of towels and a wood floor. In fact, she makes working out look fun.

If Underwood is feeling “old,” we’re sure she’ll snap out of it soon, since she’s currently preparing to kick off her Storyteller Tour at the end of this month.

We’re sure Underwood will sing many of her hit songs on tour, including her current single “Heartbeat.” You can watch the official music video for the song below, in which Underwood looks simply stunning, and no where close to “old.”

We hope Underwood doesn’t stay sad for long! If anything she should be questioning why the cashier didn’t recognize her!
