Gretchen Wilson has been absent from the country landscape for a few years following the release of her sixth studio album, Under The Covers in 2013.

For fans of the “Redneck Woman” singer, they will be pleased to find out she has re-emerged and is lending her superstar talents to the latest track from legendary rock band,  Buckcherry.

“The Feeling Never Dies” is a bonus track from the deluxe edition of their 2015 album, Rock ‘n’ Roll and according to lead singer Josh Todd, the collaboration has been in the works for a while.

“I’ve always wanted to combine Buckcherry and country as a duet,” the singer revealed to Taste of Country. “Gretchen killed this track and really brought out the passion in the song.

Wilson has been a longtime fan of rock music and has covered many classic rock songs by Heart – who she also credits as “one of the biggest musical influences on [her] career.” She reveals that working with Buckcherry was a thrilling moment for her.

“It was a lot of fun working on this project with Buckcherry! I have been a fan ever since I heard the song ‘Crazy Bitch’.”

The country star also makes an appearance in their new video for the track, in a vocal studio while the camera cuts back to Buckcherry on a simple stage. The song is a great blend of rock and country with sharp modern edge laden with gritty undertones.
