Can we expect anything but greatness from one of the most recognizable duos in country music?

This isn’t Montgomery Gentry’s latest release, and it certainly isn’t their most well known song, but it is one that will pull at your heartstrings. “Some People Change” discusses everyday struggles that some people face, especially those who are currently changing their ways.

Montgomery Gentry released “Some People Change” in 2006 off their album of the same name. You might recall that the song was previously released by fellow country star, Kenny Chesney just two years prior. Regardless, the powerful message that the lyrics send to good-hearted people everywhere is priceless.

The music video shines a light on those good-hearted people, who are ready to remove themselves from racism, alcoholism, or whatever afflicts daily life. Meanwhile, explaining that change can be done at any stage, and hope is everlasting.

Many people deal with struggles like the ones showcased in the video below, and Montgomery Gentry’s decision to shine a light on those sensitive but relevant topics is just another example of why they are two of the best that country music has to offer.

Be sure to grab the box of tissues before you watch this one because emotions will run high! See the music video for Montgomery Gentry’s “Some People Change” below.
