“You ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog cryin’ all the time,” sings the young musician with passion.

The King first recorded “Hound Dog” in July 1956. His version was ranked at No.19 on Rolling Stone’s list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.” Elvis’ version of the song topped the U.S. pop, country, and R&B charts simultaneously at No.1 in 1956; holding its spot on the pop chart for 11 consecutive weeks.
