These adorable little girls have some serious moves!

Dressed head-to-toe in lumberjack gear, a group of young girls throw down on the dance floor country style to classic folk song, “Cotton-Eyed Joe.” The adorable dancers deliver a complex routine featuring unique dance moves, acrobatic tricks, and tons of fun.

The dance came about as part of the “Experimental Movement Concepts Dance Concert” back in June of 2012. While it’s unclear whether the girls won an award for their impressive routine, they definitely won over our hearts!

“Cotton-Eyed Joe” is a traditional folk song with variations of the tune dating back to before 1861. The song has been covered time and time again on an international scale but is mostly associated with the American south.
