Air Force Hero Delivers Heart-Stopping ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ Cover

Chris Stapleton resurrected George Jones’ classic “Tennessee Whiskey” with his surreal performance at the 2015 CMA Awards alongside Justin Timberlake. In addition to a skyrocket career for Stapleton, countless covers of the country song have poured in following the performance, including that of Air Force hero Lee Martin.

While the military man is by no means a professional country vocalist, you would never guess it from his jaw-dropping delivery of the timeless classic. Martin’s intoxicating soulful vocals radiate through the airwaves in his mesmerizing acoustic rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey”.

Martin uploaded the cover to his Facebook account in April of 2016, explaining he was in “one of them singin’ moods.” While it remains unclear whether or not he wishes to pursue a career in country music, seems like only a matter of time before he is discovered.
