Although the television variety show Hee Haw was mostly known for its hysterical comedic skits, it was also known for being a platform for good country music. Hosted by country legend Buck Owens, the show was visited by many country legends who performed and also participated in the fun!

A fan favorite segment of Hee Haw was when the Hee Haw Gospel Quartet would come together for a performance of everyone’s favorite gospel songs.

The Hee Haw Gospel Quartet consisted of Owens, Grandpa Jones, Roy Clark and Kenny Price. In this particular performance, they performed “Amazing Grace.”

A beautiful harmonica solo started the performance before the quartet delivered their angelic four-part harmonies. Clad in overalls and suspenders, the talented singers proved why they are one of the most beloved quartets in country music.

Enjoy their performance of “Amazing Grace” below.
