Bartender Stuns Crowd With Unexpected Country Twist On Queen’s Mega Hit

The X Factor USA Youtube

One 29-year-old Nashville bartender made her talent known when she took to the coveted stage of The X Factor USA and gave an unforgettable performance of a rock classic.

“I want to do what millions of young people want to do, and it can get discouraging. Sometimes I feel like I’m never gonna make it, but I don’t want to be a person that lives with regret,” contestant Rachel Potter told cameras as she anxiously awaited her performance.

Upon meeting the judges, Potter explained to brutally honest Simon Cowell that her lifelong dream has been to become a country star. She admitted that her talent has been passed up far too many times. When asked why she needs the assistance of the show for her big break, she heartbreakingly replies, “I’m 29. I’m not a spring chicken. When there is a lot of 15-year-olds getting record deals, they’re maybe overlooking a 29-year-old.”

With that, Potter breaks into her “country version” of the Queen mega hit “Somebody To Love,” which sent the audience into immediate cheers and applause! Her incredibly smooth vocals and unbelievable voice control shocked judges, even eliciting a smirk from Cowell!

Potter’s performance was pure soul, country, and phenomenal talent! Needless to say, her standing ovation was well deserved! We’re sure you’ll fall in love with her original rendition of this classic rock favorite.
