Billy Ray Cyrus Crashes Pop Star’s Concert For Impromptu ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ Duet

While promoting her latest single, “Sorry Not Sorry”, pop star Demi Lovato planned a seven city “Houseparty” tour, where she plays surprise shows for fans in either living rooms or other intimate settings.

Her first Houseparty tour stop was in Boston, where NFL star Rob Gronkowski was her surprise guest. Her next stop? Music City. With a wide array of country singers to choose from as her surprise guest, it’s no shock that she kept it in the family. The Disney family, that is.

Billy Ray Cyrus, who formerly starred with his daughter Miley on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, joined Lovato, who was the lead in the Camp Rock movies as well as her own show Sonny With A Chance.

Fans went wild when Cyrus walked on stage with Lovato, who had just finished singing her powerful new single. Together, they sang Cyrus’ most iconic song, “Achy Breaky Heart”. As you can see in the video below, the entire crowd was singing and dancing along. Cyrus looked like he was enjoying himself and even took to social media to thank Lovato for inviting him to perform.

Singing country music is not new to Lovato, who is a Texas native. She recorded a song with Brad Paisley last year called “Without A Fight”.
