Blake Shelton Brings Special Child To Tears In Heartwarming Moment

Cure For Daisy/Facebook

This little cowgirl couldn’t hold her emotions back anymore when she had one of her biggest dreams come true in a stunning meet-and-greet with country music superstar Blake Shelton

Nearly 7 years old, Daisy Prescott is a little angel with a big heart – and in that big heart she has a special place for Shelton. Daisy is currently battling an auto-immune disease called Juvenile Dermatomyosis, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being her charming and bubbly self all the time.

Little Daisy’s mom explains on the Facebook page, Cure For Daisy, that prior to the meet and greet session, her daughter got a heavy case of nerves while they were at the venue for his May 28th show in New Orleans.

“…she burst into tears,” Daisy’s mom, Kristen wrote on Facebook. “She was terrified. She said she couldn’t do it and was freaked out.”

Apparently, the nerves got the best of Daisy when she and her mom had been in line for their special time with Shelton and his team told them they could go first.

Shelton had been expecting Daisy for the special meet and greet, so when he realized she wasn’t there, he went to find her! Getting her distracted with a golf cart, Shelton and her mom met and got their special meet and greet session to happen!

“Her face at first was horrified,” Kristen continues writing. “Then, sobbing, she RUNS about 3 feet and slams into BS giving him a huuuuuge hug. And he melts! He held her, hugged her tight and kissed her head. He bent down and kept on hugging saying, ‘Sweetie! I didn’t mean to make you cry!’”

The precious moment wasn’t recorded, but there were a few photos taken and adorable Daisy talked about her excitement for meeting him in a video beforehand!
