Country music star Blake Shelton gave fans an incredible surprise when he pulled off a performance that included a legendary blast from the past.

Performing in Ohio, the “Honey Bee” singer gave a stellar performance of his fun song “Doing It To Country Songs,” which features the iconic country group the Oak Ridge Boys. Shelton belted, “My alarm clock is a radio/ 95.5 gets me ready to go/ I’m heading to my job, drinking coffee strong/ And I’m doing it to country songs,” starting his performance with a solo.

However, it was directly after the song’s intro that the show took an unsuspected turn as a group of men charged the stage directly behind Shelton. Slowly, the audience began to recognize the familiar faces of the icons that embody the iconic Oak Ridge Boys, erupting into cheers of excitement.

Hugging each member individually, Shelton recruited his fellow country boys to finish out the performance and end their appearance with an unforgettable blast from the past. Having the time of their lives, the men broke out into an impromptu performance of their timeless hit “Elvira.” Needless to say, it was a nostalgic concert experience few are likely to forget.
