Blake Shelton is back at it again with yet another comedy routine advertising for his favorite brand of men’s underwear. While these undergarments are anything but fancy, Shelton talks up the brand to men across the globe by addressing the underwear standards that must be met.
Titled “Brief Thoughts With Blake Shelton,” this promo accurately depicts Shelton’s carefree sense of humor, as well as his love for Gildan underwear. Shelton used a fun play on words to expose the common issues that men face when in the market for a new pair of briefs, and little was off limits! Fortunately, Shelton did keep his southern class and left some key points to the imagination.
The new promo is the latest installment in Shelton’s series of commercials for the brand, which he’s done since signing an endorsement agreement with them back in February 2015.
“As a real Oklahoma guy who likes to kick-back in comfort at the end of the day, I am excited to promote Gildan, a brand that I appreciate for its quality and comfort,” Shelton said in a press release after signing the deal.
When it comes to the new promo, Shelton names off some of the reasons why Gildan is the best brand for any hard workin’ country boy, and does so using his signature sense of humor.
“Fancy is for operas and dinners, not underwear,” Shelton tells his audience, acknowledging that the last thing men are worried about when it comes to undergarments is making fashion statement.
