Blake Shelton’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Has Surprising Twist

The beloved country crooner is jumping in the car for a musical montage that is surely going to leave you in fits of laughter!

Having already earned his title as one of The Voice‘s favorite coaches, country music superstar and magical mentor, Blake Shelton is tackling one of the hottest internet trends: Carpool Karaoke.

Almost everyone under the sun has done an episode of this fun and hip musical car ride, but we haven’t really seen Shelton strap on a seatbelt and sing at the top of his lungs….until now!

After visiting with popular comedian Chelsea Handler on her new Netflix talk show, Shelton and Handler decided to embark on a newfangled version of this popular internet sensation.

According to a new report by CMT’s Cody Alan, Shelton’s new bit with Handler is a segment that draws from the original series made popular by James Corden – only this time it won’t be airing on national television.

Instead of getting a primetime slot on TV, these new series of Carpool Karaoke will be part of a new Apple Music program and will pair even more celebrities together for future episodes.

There hasn’t been a release date announced for this episode, nor has the series been given a premiere date.

Watch Shelton’s interview with Handler on her talk show in the video below and let us know if you will be watching his new Carpool Karaoke video when it’s released!
