Blake Shelton’s Family Selling Off His Childhood Home
on Mar 07, 2017
The house where this country superstar grew up has been listed for sale according to Realtor.com and carries a decent price tag!
From his hometown of Ada, Oklahoma, Blake Shelton‘s mother is selling the family home that features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and boasts an expansive footprint of more than 3,100 square feet!
Shelton’s mom, Dorothy, moved out of the house several years ago and into a place in Lake Texoma, choosing to rent the home over that time, but now has listed this rustic-themed abode for a reasonable $250,000 – a price listing agent Tyler Thomson says is void of any “celebrity tax” for the homes connection to Shelton.

With such a sprawling home, it contains quite a few unique touches such as this rustic-tuned updated kitchen, a fully enclosed porch, and breathtaking wraparound deck.

The most-intriguing feature of the home has to be an entire room decked out in rustic barn wood features and made to look like a town you’d find inside one of those old western movies. It features an outhouse door and shingled roof and was built specifically for Dorothy.

Shelton’s mom now lives just about an hour from the place but still has many family and friends in Ada and visits often. Shelton himself has a ranch in nearby Tishomingo that he tries to spend as much time as possible at.
