Band Brings Crowd To Their Feet With Bluegrass Version Of ‘Don’t Stop Believin”

Bluegrass Life/Facebook

Some of our favorite performances are ones that we would have never seen coming and we can honestly tell you, we never thought we’d see this! From the looks on the audience’s faces, it’s safe to say they didn’t, either.

This talented bluegrass band was playing a show when the mandolin player began playing a very familiar guitar intro. The crowd erupted in applause, knowing they were in for a treat. We couldn’t confirm what song they were playing until the bass player came in and in an instant we knew they were playing Journey’s legendary song “Don’t Stop Believin'”.

The iconic guitar riff after the first verse was now played on a fiddle and after his big moment, the fiddle player relished in the spotlight. Each member of the band took center stage to show off their talents and they all joined together for the fast-paced chorus.

After the final note, the audience jumped out of their seats to give them a well-deserved standing ovation.
