The theme for Monday night’s (May 1) episode of Dancing With The Stars was “Night At The Movies” and each couple was assigned a movie genre to create a dance to.
It comes at no surprise that professional bull rider Bonner Bolton was given the genre of Western films. The preface of his dance with professional partner Sharna Burgess was a high stake poker game, where Bolton won everything, but Burgess and a bar maid were in cahoots and ended up taking everything from him!
While telling the compelling story, Burgess and Bolton danced a paso doble, easily one of the most intense dances in the ballroom.
There were broken bottles, stolen money, and a lot of fun! Set to the tune of “Rodeo-Four Dance Episodes (Instrumental): IV. Hoedown”, the dance looked and sounded like it came straight out of a Western movie.
Their dance, plus the dance-off later in the episode, helped them escape elimination and keep them safe for next week.
Watch their paso doble performance below.
