Brad Paisley Brings Carrie Underwood Out For ‘Remind Me’ Duet

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley sparked a wave of emotions at the Grand Ole Opry with an explosive duet of their song “Remind Me.” The longtime friends came together once again at the iconic venue in August 2012 for the performance of a lifetime.

Paisley kicked off the performance solo before Underwood’s powerful voice is heard throughout the concert hall – just in time for the chorus. The audience went wild as the talented vocalist began to cross the stage, thrilling the crowd with her unprecedented appearance.

Knowing the song would be best recorded as a duet, Paisley described the decision to choose the country music superstar to perform on the song as an easy one. The song went on to hit number one on Billboard’s country chart in addition to taking home an ACM Award for “Collaborative Music Video of the Year.”

“Remind Me” was co-written by Paisley back in 2011, released as the third single off his critically acclaimed album This Is Country Music. The song tells the emotional story of a married couple desperately trying to reignite the spark of their relationship that began to drift away from them over the years.

You can watch the pair reunite in 2016 for a powerful performance of “Remind Me” below.
