Country music star Brad Paisley teamed up with classic rock legend John Fogerty to create a musical masterpiece that explosively address the usage and poor treatment of soldiers and veterans.

“One of the more important things I’ve ever said and I’m so honored to say it with John Fogerty,” the country singer captioned his freshly released music video, earning endless appreciation from fans who value the message that the two stars proudly conveyed.

The video, shot in San Diego, California, incorporated a variety of military icons and emotional testimonies, kicking off their fiery performance with one goal in mind: respect our heroes. The song’s chorus deeply struck listeners as it explosively admitted, “And they say all is fair in Love and War/ But that ain’t true, it’s wrong/ They ship you out to die for us/ Forget about you when you’re done.”

The powerful blend of the men’s voices incorporated two unique sounds that produced a spine-chilling harmony, resonating with fans both agreeing with their bold lyrics or catching their first glimpse at the crisis.

“They call ’em decorated heroes/ And pin some medals on their chest/ Give ’em a tiny little pension/ Could we do much less,” they regretfully sang, eager to make a change benefiting those who have been deemed forgotten after sacrificing a wide range of opportunities and unretrievable time to defend our nation. Their genius duet had fans buzzing about their profound message and their unfathomable music talent.

“Love and War” can be found on Paisley’s newest, same-titled album, made available for purchase today! Be sure to watch the incredible music video that is taking the nation by storm.
